·     Provide consulting services to clients, including Agilent, Kmart, Cargill, and various GE subsidiaries.

·     Perform analysis and create specifications and maps for ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transaction sets.

·     Write specifications utilizing EDIFECS Commerce SpecBuilder and direct efforts of mapping resources.

·     Develop and revise maps utilizing GE Application Integrator.

·     Devise, code, document and test various Perl, AWK and KornShell scripts in order to automate the data mining process, facilitate map development, catalog client-provided data and improve the accuracy of specifications.

·     Document map testing procedures.

·     Migrate GENTRAN maps to GE Application Integrator.

·     Apply Six Sigma rigor to the quality process performed on migrated maps by automating translations of massive amounts of data and generating a differences report. This improvement reduced the time required to perform the existing process from an average of three hours to an average of 12 minutes and resulted in a savings of an estimated $125,000 over a period of two years.

·     Designed, coded, implemented, tested and modified front-end and back-end systems in support of TrustMark retirement plan recordkeeping and participant servicing software.

·     Wrote and maintained applications used on Windows workstations using Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Seagate Crystal Reports and Sybase SQL.

·     Created and modified KornShell scripts on a SunOS 5.6 UNIX platform.

·     Set up trading partner profiles and mapped ANSI X12 transaction sets using Sterling GENTRAN:Director and GENTRAN:Integrator.

·     Acted as a point of contact for trading partners, Value Added Networks and internal departments.

·     Monitored daily EDI operations, including the scheduling of EDI jobs and communications.

·     Wrote programs in Microsoft Visual Basic and Prime InfoBasic to customize reports and extract data from the DataWorks ManFact II manufacturing package residing on a Prime minicomputer.

·     Created the GUI and integration software for PC-based valve testing stations using Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.
